Maki Sushi + Poke – Fresh, Flavorful Sushi & Poke Bowls in Stittsville

Had a superb seafood poke bowl here. The service was fantastic: friendly and helpful in making my menu selection. Extremely fresh and delicious salmon, tuna, and shrimp, as well as fresh tasty greens, rice. They are popular, so be forewarned that there may be busy times where you may have to wait a bit for your order. But they are more than worth it for tasty, fresh and healthy meals. Will definitely return.

I dont usually give praise.. however I wanted to tell you guys about the experience I had with Maki sushi. Something happen to our order and David is a lowkey superhero. He defused the situation and provided a solution and covered 100% of their most expensive platter. I have not seen such amazing customer service in my life, let alone the sushi being pretty good and reasonable priced. One negative I would add was I wish there were more selection though. However tuna and salmon are my fav and that was fully on their menu Thank you David for taking the inititive! I totally recommend Maki sushi

I had one of the best sushi experiences in town! Every piece was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor—truly a delight in every bite. The restaurant’s atmosphere is inviting and spotless, making it even more enjoyable. The staff members are friendly and very helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, food came out fast. The Maki mix was phenomenal, so fresh and high quality. The poke bowl was also good but not as good as the mix platter.

Been here a few times now and I really like it, especially when contrasted with the chipotle just down the road. For comparison - the chipotle is loud, the toppings aren't all that appetizing, and it's generally just your typical corporate slop bowl. It's not BAD per se, but it's more of a nutritional transaction than a meal. For around the same price, maybe just a little more (the poke bowls include avocado, and putting avocado in your chipotle bowl costs extra) the restaurant is quiet and serene, the tables are comfy and clean, and the food is brought to you in almost the same amount of time as you'd wait in line at Chipotle. The lady behind the counter is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they take their time to make every individual bowl look nice instead of just slopping things into a paper cup. It really is jarring, the difference in experience between two fundamentally similar food options. Seriously, the people who run this place are incredibly friendly! As well, this place manages to dodge the pitfalls I've seen in other hastily-thrown-together trend-following poke bowl/sushi-adjacent places. The interior isn't shoddy (it's very nice, actually), the kitchen is visible from the dining area and really clean (not that I'm a huge stickler for that, tbh) and I feel like I'm getting good value for my money. Salmon is fresh and juicy, as well. It's overall just a really nice spot, and given that I don't think it's corporately owned, I'm happy to spend an extra $3-4 to support a business that gives me a lovely poke bowl food experience that isn't just a bowl food™ experience. I honestly look forward to coming here.

Came here for sit in dining for lunch. The sushi was fresh and its hits the craving. giving it four stars because the maki rolls weren’t rolled well, they were kind of falling apart. It would be nice if they had better soy sauce, the one they had was super salty. Service was good and the atmosphere was minimalist. Would definitely come back.

Absolute perfection. From the second you walk in, to menu options, great order service, and the food is incredible! Very fresh clean and taste with great portions. I went in for a quick lunch bite and was pleasantly surprised. New poke and sushi gem found.

This place has quickly become my favourite lunch spot. I have ordered the seafood trio poke bowl twice (portion size was good) and sushi, both were delicious. There is limited seating, the staff is friendly. They do have gf soya sauce and will try to accommodate.
